Hello, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in July, bringing balance changes!
Balance changes
This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.
- Cabin Girls' strength is now 6/7/8/10/12 (up from 6/7/8/9/11)
- Broken Earth Drakes' ability is now 3/4/5/6/7 (up from 2/3/4/5/6) and triggers On Death, without extra conditions.
- Curse of Strings' ability is now 6/8/10/13/16 (down from 7/9/11/14/17).
- Queen of Herds' strength is now 6/7/7/8/8 (down from 6/7/8/8/10)
- Boomstick Officers' strength is now 1/2/3/4/5 (down from 2/3/4/5/6).
- Destructobots' ability is now 2/2/2/2/2 (up from 1/1/1/1/1)
As usual, some compensation in the form of coins and fusion stones will be provided to owners of nerfed cards, proportional to the level and rarity of the card. Find below the compensation values for each rarity and level.
Common card: 
10 coins at level 2, 20 coins and 
1 fusion stone at level 3, 50 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 4, 120 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 5.
Rare card: 15 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 2, 30 coins and 3 fusion stones at level 3, 90 coins and 7 fusion stones at level 4, 190 coins and 10 fusion stones at level 5.
Epic card: 15 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 2, 40 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 3, 120 coins and 10 fusion stones at level 4, 250 coins and 20 fusion stones at level 5.
Legendary card: 1 fusion stone at level 1, 20 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 2, 50 coins and 10 fusion stones at level 3, 150 coins and 20 fusion stones at level 4, 300 coins and 50 fusion stones at level 5.
Ticket Card Changes
Ticket Cards accessibility
We’re making some adjustments to how Ticket Cards work, giving players more flexibility and rewards for their time. Starting now, you’ll be able to claim a free Ticket Card every week (instead of every two weeks) from the shop.
You can get it by watching a short ad, or claim for free if you have an active Premium Pass. This should make it easier to try out different game modes (Draft & Brawl) and experiment with new Foils more often.
Ranked League Unlocks
We’re making a small but meaningful change to how league access works in Ranked mode. Until now, you only needed to use Ticket Cards to unlock leagues that weren’t available at the start of the season - and that’s still true. However, starting with this update, if you climb out of a league, you’ll need to spend Ticket Cards to re-enter it, even if it was previously unlocked.
For example, if you start in Platinum, reach Diamond, and collect your Platinum chest, you’ll now need to unlock Platinum again if you want to keep playing there - though the chest will, of course, not reset.
Since players now get two more Ticket Cards per month for free, we’re also slightly increasing the cost to unlock higher leagues: Silver to Diamond will now require 2 Ticket Cards, while Bronze and Iron remain at 1.

Referral System Rewards Boost
We’ve decided to boost the rewards for both referring and referred players to make it more exciting to bring your friends into Stormbound.
Players who join the game through a referral link will now receive 500 coins (previously 100), along with a free copy of Edrik the Fierce to help them get started.
Meanwhile, the player who invited them will now earn 25 rubies instead of 10, giving a little extra sparkle to their future book openings!

Vacations Event
We associate July with vacations and relaxation, so come and feel that vacation vibe in Stormound with our exciting event!
Our event starts on July 7th, 2025, and ends on July 21st, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST.
Vacations Gift
During the event, everyone will receive a gift of 200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from July 7th, 2025 until July 21st, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST.

To activate the code, go to the redeem code site .
- Enter the code in the Code field.
- Enter your Player ID in the Player ID field (you can find your Player ID in the in-game settings and copy it from there).
- Click the Redeem Code button.

More Cards
Additionally, all books (but Humble) will yield 1 extra card for the duration of the whole event in store, starting from July 7th, 2025, and ends on July 14th, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST.
More Coins
During the event, all coin gains and the coin cap will be doubled, except for quests. This passive boosts starts on July 7th, 2025, and ends on July 21st, 2025.
Pirate Event
We're hosting a Pirate Event to celebrate the arrival of Summer! Get on board and discover the treasure our pirates have collected for you.
Our event starts on June 23rd, 2025, and ends on July 7th, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST.
Pirate Gift
During the event, everyone will receive a gift of 200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from June 23rd, 2025, until July 7th, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST.

More Rubies
During this event, from June 23rd, 2025, until July 7th, 2025, at 9:00 AM CEST, every Ruby bundle will yield up to 30% more resources.
More Cards
Additionally, Book of Pirates will yield 2 extra cards for the duration of the event in the Store, starting from June 23rd, 2025 and ends on July 7th, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST. Blueprints Lexicon will join the Book of Pirates with the same bonus, starting from June 24th, 2025.

- What’s the goal behind the Ticket Card changes?
The previous system made it a bit too easy to drop back into lower leagues after collecting rewards, which often led to skipping the challenge of higher-tier play. Over time, this reduced the incentive to upgrade decks and truly compete at the top for many (especially new) players.
With this update, we’re aiming to restore that sense of progression. By encouraging players to stay in higher leagues, we hope to make each climb more meaningful - and give players more reasons to keep growing their collections and improving their strategies.
